As the president of Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA), I would like to thank you for visiting our website.  MPA is the professional body that represent physiotherapists in Malaysia and internationally.  We are a member of World Confederation Physical Therapy (WCPT) since 1974. 

Physiotherapists have a commitment to professional accountability and as such are required to update their knowledge and skill and behave in an ethical manner according to the code of professional conduct.  We have an important role in the development of physiotherapy service and the growth of our profession. Currently, there are 607 physiotherapists who have registered with MPA and are having their practice all over the country and some in overseas.

It is the fervent hope of MPA to strengthen ties and relationship among physiotherapists through improved network of communication. We are at the advantage as the internet and web is the source of information in this 21st century that has been designed and developed for our good use.  We hope to facilitate sharing of knowledge and expertise on different areas of professional practice. This is a good chance for us to view different perspectives on issues that are common to all physiotherapists.  Perhaps you might want to send photos of your latest activities / events, articles of interest or wish to gather resources for your research whereby we would be able to provide assistance by uploading these information into our website.
